Hello beauties!
Today I am going to write about that one task that I hate but can't skip. Yes its about how I clean my makeup brushes.
I wash my everyday makeup brushes about 3-4 times a week but I wash the others only after they are used.
Things needed:
1- Makeup Remover
2- Shampoo
3- Dettol
4- Water
5- Empty bowl
My makeup brush cleaning is a three step process:
First Step:
First I take a bowl and dissolve some makeup remover into it and let my brushes soak into it for roughly around 5-7 minutes so that the brushes are free from all makeup residues.
Second Step:
After that I discard this mixture and refill the bowl with fresh water and add some shampoo and let my brushes take a bath into this new mixture. Sometimes I also add a small drop of dettol I just tend to think it will disinfect my brushes better but I use it only once in a while, not very often.
Third Step:
After that I just run the brushes under the tap water while rubbing lightly over my hand.
After I am done with washing I reshape them with my hands and just let them sit flat on a newspaper or tissue paper to dry.
People use different things to clean their makeup brushes I'd love to know what you use, please share in the comments..
Thanks for stopping by
That's it for now I'll be back soon
Take care

Food review- The Classroom Cafe
Hello beauties!
Today's post is a restaurant/cafe review..
Recently I read some reviews of The Classroom Cafe on the internet and since most of the reviews were positive I knew I must go there very soon. The other day I went there with some friends for lunch and it was a good experience.
The ambiance and food both were great. Their interiors are aesthetic. As the name tells they have given the cafe a classroom kind of look.

The ambiance and food both were great. Their interiors are aesthetic. As the name tells they have given the cafe a classroom kind of look.
The education and school stuff is painted on the walls you can see this in the images.
Their menus are on the photostat paper like class notes and handouts.
The highlight of the interior was these lanterns I just loved them.
About food:
The food was really delicious I became their fan right after having the first bite of the starter.

About their service:
All food was served within 40 minutes except sandwiches. We kept waiting for about 1 and half hour and after that cancelled our remaining order and left as we were getting late I don't know why the sandwiches took that long to prepare. Although they easily agreed to cancel the order but the behavior of the staff was very rude.
Overall the experience was fine as the food was yummy.
My ratings:

How are you all doing?
Today I am going to share some beauty hacks with you which I actually follow. The internet is filled with zillions of beauty hacks and tips some of which are really helpful. I have tried many of them and here I am sharing those which have actually worked for me and I think you should give them a try too.
Beauty hack no.1:
I use scotch tape on the sides of the eyes as a guideline while doing my eye makeup like I did here. It guides me
1) in drawing the perfect wing of eyeliner and
2) in applying the eye shadows so that I do not end up applying more shadow on one eye than on the other.

Beauty hack #2:
I use coconut oil as eye makeup remover. I just put a few drops of oil on cotton and use it to clean my makeup.
Beauty hack #3:
Before applying makeup I prime my face with ice. It closes/shrinks the pores and makes the makeup application smooth.

Beauty hack #4:
Before applying perfume I apply vaseline (petroleum jelly) on my pulse point. Using vaseline under perfume make the fragrance last longer.
Beauty hack #5:
I don't like my makeup to look all matte and dry so after completing all my makeup I spray a DIY mixture on my face to get a dewy and youthful finish.
I mix the rosewater with glycerin and lemon juice(optional) and use it as a makeup fixing spray.
I'll be back soon till than take care

Eid FOTD
Hello beauties
Eid mubarak.
If you don't know what eid is let me tell you it is the festival
that we celebrate every year after a month of fasting. You can find more details here..
The Eid celebrations are grand here in Pakisan with lots of
food, shopping, friends and family gatherings and getting dressed in beautiful
outfits and everything festive. So where everybody is doing their best to make their
day perfect is it possible that a fashion and makeup lover like me not do a
special makeup look for eid? No..
So here I am sharing the FOTD that I did for the first day of eid
that was yesterday.
I worn an off white net
dress with turquoise button and embellishment which I got stitched from a tailor.
Sorry I could not take the pictures of complete outfit as there were lots of guests
visiting and greeting and serving them took all of my time. But I managed to take
some pictures of my makeup.
PRODUCTS USED:
Face:
Makeup Revolution Cover and Conceal Palette
Essence soft touch matte mousse makeup ( Read my review here)
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Pink frosting
Oriflame Peach me Perfect skin glow ( Read my review here)
Eyes:
I heart makeup- I heart obsession palette in born to die
Christine black liner pencil
Maybelline volume express mascara
Essence All eyes on me Mascara
Contact lenses- Optiano
express in spark turquoise
Lips:
Clazona Lipstick in shade 344.
Detailed Tutorial:
First I blow dried my hair and then wore my contact lenses (Note: never use a blow dry after wearing your lenses as they can melt due to heat).
Then I rubbed an ice cube all over my face it shrinks the pores and makes the makeup application smooth.
Then I rubbed an ice cube all over my face it shrinks the pores and makes the makeup application smooth.
Then I used my DIY moisturizer (made with rose water and
glycerin). I'll be sharing the recipe in another post.
After that I mixed the shade 1 and 2 of cover and conceal
palette on the back of my hand and used this on my under eyes .
Then I covered other areas which needed coverage. I got this
really big pimple on my right cheek just a day before Eid so this needed to be
concealed I used the shade 1 for this.
I didn’t want to do a lot of contouring since it was supposed
to be a natural look with minimal makeup (but actually I ended up doing smoky eyes which wasn't my
plan at first) so I just used the darkest shade of cover and conceal palette to
contour my nose and cheeks which isn't dark enough for proper contouring at
least for me but still it worked for my daytime eid look and I used the lightest shade #1 on the bridge of my nose.
After that I applied essence mousse foundation all over my face.
Then comes the eyes part:
Then
applied the 3rd shade all over my lids and the 9th shade
on the outer corners of my eyes reaching the scotch tape boundary. I also used
the 4th shade from the palette in the middle for gradual transition
from light to dark and blended them all.
Then I highlighted the brow bone with the 1st
shade.
After that I lined my upper lash line with the Christine
black liner pencil.
Then I curled my lashes and applied Maybelline mascara and
then applied the 2nd coat of essence mascara.
After that I applied the Maybelline blush with my fingers.
Then I set my makeup with the Dazz matazz compact powder.
I also used the oriflame peach me perfect skin glow on my
cheek bones.
And at last I put on the lipstick and applied a clear
lipgloss just in the middle of my pout.
And this is the end look.
Bubye take care :)

Beauty wishlist..
Hello beauties!
How are you all doing?
How are you all doing?
By now you people must have known that I have a thing for makeup and I always
have a long list of makeup products to buy. But there are a few things which I
really really want to get my hands on right now and I am sharing these with you
here:
I have read some amazing reviews of this liner. It comes in six
shades but I love the turquoise one.
2- The second
thing is this mirror I saw online and since then I am thinking about it.
Annabelle's
Copper & Blue Metal Fancy Embellished Mirror. It is available on
daraz.pk
3- Then this makeup revolution’s Vivid blush lacquer:
The main reason I want it is because it comes with a pump dispenser and I have never
used a liquid blush. After doing my research I have decided on the shade
desire.
4- Then, I want this heart shaped USB. I know it’s way too sparkly and fancy to be used for data transfer especially in office but I can use it as necklace or as a bling for my handbag may be... right?? I really want it.
5-Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art:
They have
it in ten different shades but I love the black brilliance and Topaz twinkle.
I just realized that most of the things on my wishlist are more on the fancy and bling side which is so unlike me. I always prefer light natural looking makeup with nude shades and elegant not so fancy accessories but then its good to try new and different things every once in a while.
That’s it
for now…
I’ll be
back soon.
Take care…
bubye :)
P.S I am
looking for a good foot cream and if any of you can help with my search it will be really
awesome. Thanks :)

Skin Deep Cell Phone App- Review
Hello beauties!
Today I'm sharing something new and different at my blog and it is a mobile phone app..
Being a cell phone and apps addict I'm always checking out different apps I download 'em, use for a while if they are interesting or useful I keep them otherwise i just delete them in a few days. One day just browsing through the play store I came across this app called "Skin deep" when I read the details it sounded really good.
We all want to look and feel beautiful and for this we use many products without realizing all the effects they can have on us. Most of the time we do not read the ingredients list and even if we read it we do not know anything about them so in fact this list of ingredients on the back of every product does not do any good to us.
So back to the "App talk".. I downloaded this app and found it very useful. This app classifies the products as hazardous, moderately hazardous and after complete analysis of the ingredients used in it.
What we need to do is just input the product into this app and the App will do the rest and will give us the final result. We can input the name of the product manually and also the App can scan the bar code.
The App also saves the search history so we do not need to scan the bar codes again and again.
It also gives some tips as to what ingredients are harmful and should be avoided.
In the end I'd say I found this app really useful and I love it.
That's it for now. I'll be back soon.
Take care... Bubye :)

Oriflame's Pure Skin Blackhead Clearing Mask Review
Hello beauties!
How are you all doing?
How are you all doing?
Today I am sharing with you my thoughts on Oriflame’s Pure Skin Blackhead Clearing Mask.
Starting with the brand’s Claims:
Deep Action Mask with antimicrobial Salicylic acid and
Detect Technology to reduce and prevent blackheads and spots. Purifies and
tightens pores, and controls shine. Use 1-2 times per week.
Packaging:
It comes in a blue
plastic tube which is very easy to handle and the opening is small so we
can control the amount we take out.
Now, My thoughts:
How I use it:
After using the product for about 7-8 months on and off I can say
I am satisfied with it. It actually does what it claims.
I use the mask after I am done with my regular cleansing and
exfoliation. I just take out a small amount and apply a thin layer all over my
face and let it dry (I took some picture of my face with the mask on but I look funny in them so I am not posting them :D ).. As per instructions we need to leave it for 5 minutes but
I don’t know why I never remove any mask until it’s completely dry. It takes
8-10 minutes to dry completely then I just rinse it off with normal tap water.
I use the mask only when I feel any blackheads or dirt in my pores.
What I feel after use:
It actually does what it says. When I bought the product I wasn’t
expecting anything big from this but I just bought it any ways. After using it
for the first time I felt my skin had become soft and clean. Every time I use
this mask all the black dirt in my pores is gone, I love how my skin feels
clean after I rinse off this mask. Even if I use this mask without exfoliating
first I feel my skin soft which means it also exfoliates the dead skin which is
an additional benefit that I love.
If I have any big visible blackheads or zits I just apply the mask
on that blackhead and I found it working on those monster blackheads as well. It
soften them out and then they can be easily removed.
I have read in some reviews over the internet that it make skin
dry but I did not feel any dryness on my skin and even if it does we can always
balance it with using a good moisturizer so it’s not an issue for me.
Caution:
The mask should not be applied near the eyes and mouth area
because some of the ingredients can cause harm to eyes and there are some
ingredients which should never be ingested.
A very thin layer should be applied as the thicker the layer the
more time it will take to dry. You can apply a thicker layer on your problem
areas if you want.
Price and availability:
I got mine from an Oriflame’s consultant many consultants sell
online through Facebook pages. It is also available at daraz.pk for Rs. 549/-
Details about ingredients:
Until recently, I was the type of person who would just see a
product and buy it without much research, seriously! Just reading the product’s
claims on the label was the maximum I used to do but then I was introduced to
some beauty blogs and since then I never buy anything without reading tons of
reviews. Now I have come to the point where I read all the ingredients of the
product and do research about their effects and then decide whether to buy it
or not. I have done the same with this product as well and now I am sharing
details about some major ingredients with you.
Kaoline has an ability to dry the skin and has uses to fight acne as well as increasing localized circulation, which can contribute to fighting inflammation. It also helps to cleanse and exfoliates dead skin cells.

Sodium methyl cocoyl
taurate is a mild, coconut oil-based cleansing agent. They not only clean
without stripping natural oils, but they also moisturize.
Bentonite is used as an absorbent in cosmetics.
It can be drying for skin, though its absorbent properties are helpful for
those with oily skin.
Stearic acid helps to
remove dirt, sweat and excess sebum from the skin and hair it also helps water
and oil mix so it is used in cosmetic products as an additive so that product
requires less shaking before use. It does not possess any risks for human
health.
Salicylic Acid causes
the cells of the epidermis to shed more readily, opening clogged pores and
neutralizing bacteria within, preventing pores from clogging up again by
constricting pore diameter, and allowing room for new cell growth. It is
considered very useful for treatment of acne. It sometimes make the skin dry.
Methylparaben is a fungicide and anti-bacterial agent, extending the
shelf-life of a product. It is quickly absorbed through the skin.
Research suggests that it is responsible for cancer and also it increases the
risk of damage frsom sun’s UVB rays.
Phenoxyethanol is
toxic as per Food and Drug Administration and should never be ingested, caution
should be exercised when using the products containing it.
Now, at
the end I would summarize that overall the product is good and my go to product
for blackheads clearing it is already my third tube. Also, it is reasonably
priced.
But there
are aslo some cons which are it has no natural ingredients and It contains
parabens.
So this is it for now..
I will be back soon till then Take care
bubye..
