Hello beauties
I am back with another lip product review and this time it is a lip gloss. I am a fan of all glossy and shiny lipsticks. Especially in winters when my lips become dry and chapped I only wear lipsticks with glossy finish which keep my lips moisturized and shiny.
This lipgloss was a staple into my makeup routine all throughout winter but I don't why I never mentioned it on my blog. But now I am going to share my thoughts on this Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss with you so Lets get started:
Packaging:
This lipgloss comes in a sturdy plastic tube with a doe foot applicator, the bottle is transparent so the actual color of the product is visible from outside.
Shade:
I have got this gloss in shade true love which is a berry pink shade. The color is really pretty which gives an instant glow and freshness to my complexion. The gloss has decent pigmentation but the first coat only gives a light shine to my lips the actual color shows up only after applying a thick coat.
My thoughts:
This gloss is really lightweight, the texture is on a runny side but it doesn't bleed. The thing most people don't like about lip glosses is they feel sticky, you know how it feels like when you apply lipgloss and immediately all your hair decide to hug and kiss your lips, this thing does not happen when you are wearing this Essence lipgloss, this gloss doesn't feel sticky at all.
The staying power is pretty decent it stays fresh for upto 2-3 hours if I do not eat or drink anything and when it fades it leaves a light tint and moisturized feeling behind. It has a fruity/ berry kind of fragrance but it is mild so it doesn't bother me at all.
Overall I am really happy with this lipgloss it is perfect for daily wear (even for daytime), it is moisturizing, inexpensive and a really beautiful shade.
Price and availability:
Essence XXXL lipgloss is available at almost all leading makeup and drugstores as well as online on daraz.pk for PKR 350/-
That's it for today...
I'll be back soon till then take care and tell me in the comments which one do you like more glossy lips or matte?

5 shoes every girl should have...
Hello beauties!
I am back and today I am going to talk about the love of my
life i.e. the shoes (because they say shoes are better than man).
Wearing new shoes make me happy. Generally I don’t spend my
money without thinking but shoes always make me fall head over heels, yes I am
not a shopaholic but I am a shoeaholic. Whenever we go shopping my mom tries to
keep my attention away from the shoe shops because she knows if I enter a shoe
store I’ll end up buying something. The wide variety of beautiful shoes available
in the market always makes me go crazy but I understand that buying this many
shoes is not a wise thing to do so after all these years I have come to realize
that we only need 4-5 pairs of shoes in our lives that can go with all our
outfits and are appropriate for all occasions.
So, here’s a list of 5 pairs of shoes that I think every
girl needs in her life:
1-
Flats:
A pair of black flats is ideal as it can go with any of your
outfits, you can wear them with casual jeans and tops and with your lawn kurtis
and basically with anything. They are comfortable and also look professional so
you can wear them from office to college/university, to malls and everywhere.
2-
Black pumps:
A pair of classic black pumps can make any outfit look stylish yet
sophisticated. Black pumps can be worn to official/ formal events as well as to
informal dinners and parties.

3-
Wooden wedges:
Perfect for casual outings they are comfortable and chic. Half
of my shoe collection comprises wedges because they make me look tall without
the pain of wearing high heelsJ.
There are many designs of wedges available in the markets but I think the
wedges with wooden platforms can go with any outfit so they are the safest bet.
4-
Silver/ gold sandals:
For weddings and other similar events a pair of gold/silver
sandals is the best investment as they can go with almost every dress especially
with our desi dresses.

5-
Sneakers:
A pair of sneakers is a must have for days when you need to run
errands. They are also perfect for the morning/evening walks.

So that’s it for today. I hope you like the post.
I’ll be back soon till then take care and tell me in the
comments about your favorite kind of shoes.

Rivaj UK Quick Dry Lipstick- Review and swatches
Hello beauties!
I am back with another post and this is going to be a lipstick review. Last week I bought this Rivaj UK Quick Dry Lipstick and since then I am using it everyday. This is the first time I have bought anything from this brand and I am not sure about its origin but I think it's a local brand which is easily available in most local makeup stores.
So girls read on to find out why I like this lipstick:
The Rivaj UK's quick dry lipsticks are available in 18 shades, I have got it in shade 17 which is a brownish nude colour perfect for everyday wear.
The product comes in a dual sided plastic tube of 6 ml with a doe foot applicator. One side of the bottle contains the colored lipstick and the other contains clear lipgloss.
Like all liquid lipsticks it applies as a gloss but then it dries out and gives a matte finish. While applying it I need to be very careful and quick because as the name tells, it dries out very fast and if not applied quickly it ends up looking uneven.
The finish of the lipstick is really matte and if worn alone it makes my lips look dry and chapped so I advice that you exfoliate and moisturize your lips before applying it if you want to use the color alone without the gloss. I am not a fan of matte lips so I always apply the transparent lipgloss over it.
The best thing about this lipstick is the staying power. It stays on my lips for upto 4-5 hours and if I apply the lipstick alone without the gloss it stays on even longer.
It's not any extraordinary product but a good value for money. The best thing about these lipsticks are large variety of colors, great staying power and affordable price. This brand is available in most local makeup stores as well as online and the price ranges from Rs.280- 350/-. I got mine from Hyperstar, Fortress Stadium, Lahore for Rs.350.
That's it for today...
I'll be back soon till then take care and tell me in the comments have you ever tried any Rivaj UK's products? if yes which of their products do you like?
